Well, I have some really exciting news. I have partnered with Leeuwenhof Country Lodge&Spa bringing you this exciting opportunity to Win 1 night’s stay for two valued at R7500 at their tranquilly beautiful establishment. But before I divulge all that’s included I’d like to tell you about my experience while visiting them late last year for my birthday weekend.

Spoilt...

Greeted with the warmest smiles and home made fresh cocktails we knew that this was going to be a weekend to remember forever. It took us about an hour and a half to drive from Johannesburg to the beautiful Province of Limpopo, my Mom with us and my sister in the car behind. It would also be the first time that we as a family go on holiday after my Dad's passing.

We promised ourselves that we would make it one to remember so we did.

We were given the Presidential suite, and I’m telling you I felt like the Presidents (not for real president) wife. This space was out of this world gorgeous. It was on the furthest side of the Lodge with unending views, wild life just roaming around and to top it off there was even a jacuzzi on our patio, dreamy I tell you. All checked in, unpacked and couldn’t wait to explore the place we then went on a stroll. Every corner of this establishment, from its beautifully manicured gardens, the palm trees, the pool, the spa and ever so often a wild buck and ostrich just strolling past made it even more exciting to be there and experience it all.

It was also my birthday weekend, so we put in a request for the chef to cook us a little something extra special for the vegetarians, and he happily obliged. The private dinner settings, my family, the views, the delicious food and the fresh air was all I needed to round up our 3 nights stay at this beautiful paradise.

Next stop...

We then decided to visit the Euphoria Golf & Lifestyle Estate, just 30 min drive from Leeuwenhof, again the place wowed us. We were only going to stay there for one night and wanted to make the most of every minute we had. They were just about to launch the Euphoria waterpark, so we didn’t have the opportunity to hit the pools, but what we did though was jump on the cable car which transported us to the top of the mountain.

The views again out of this world magic kinda stuff. After admiring their beautiful 18-hole signature golf course which was designed by Annika Sorenstam, I really wish I could hit a ball or something, but it’s never too late to learn I guess.

The signal at Leeuwenhof was really limited though, all I wanted to do was show the world what I was seeing in real time. In hindsight I think it was good we had limited network coverage or else we would not have enjoyed the place as much as we did. I did however document our trip.
